This is gonna be a Class 3 two inch hitch receiver. That means that the hitch receiver tube is gonna be a 2 inch by 2 inch opening, which is gonna be great because most accessories that are available on the market are going to be designed to fit two inch hitch receivers. Now up close you can see Torklift's really, really tough hammer tone paint job. This paint job has been known to last a very, very long time. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over, and showing you how to install the etrailer trailer hitch receiver here, on a 2010 Toyota Highlander. So this is what our trailer hitch is gonna look like installed on our vehicle. Now it does have a visible cross tube design, but it also has a matte black powder coated finish, which is really gonna help it blend in with the underbody paneling on the vehicle. It's also gonna help protect our hitch from rust and corrosion. So adding a trailer hitch to your Highlander, it's gonna be an excellent option, because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use a trailer hitch for towing, but if we wanted to hit some trails, or just simply free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips, we could easily attach either a hitch-mounted bike rack or a hitch-mounted cargo carrier. more

One of the things that you're going to notice with this hitch is the fact that the cross tube is hidden behind the rear fascia. It gives it a nice factory look, but you still get the utility of having the trailer hitch. So, some of the features of this are a two by two inch receiver tube opening, which is going to allow you to use a lot of different accessories, whether it be your bike rack, cargo carrier, or even putting a ball hitch here to pull a small trailer. Hello neighbors, Brad here. And today we're taking a look at the CURT class 3 trailer hitch on a 2021 Toyota Highlander. So this hitch is an exposed cross tube, which means you can see the hitch underneath the vehicle, but it is a nice black powder coat finish on a steel frame so it gives it a nice look. You also see that this is a two inch by two inch receiver, which is great for a bunch of different accessories, whether it be your bike racks, cargo carrier, or even a ball hitch to tow a small trailer. You'll also notice this is a plate style safety chain loop, large openings which allows for larger hooks and you still have plenty of space. Also, you're gonna see the standard 5/8" hitch pin hole to put your accessories and lock them in place if necessary. more

So one thing I do like about this hitch is that for the most part it's going to be completely hidden. The receiver tube is going to stick out a little bit but it's still going to be less noticeable than some of the other hitches available.Now one benefit to the hitch coming out a little ways is that it's going to work really well for those folding accessories. And that's because it's going to give us a little bit more clearance. So when we do go to use any folding accessories, like a bike rack, cargo carrier, whatever you might have, you're going to have more than enough room to put it in that upright position and know that it's going to work correctly.With these Highlanders being really versatile SUV's you're going to be able to use them to do a little bit of everything. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the eTrailer Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2005 Toyota Highlander.Now this is what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. Now you can see, you can see the cross-tubes spanning from side to side so it is going to sit right below the bumper but it does have that really nice flat black carbide finish to it. It blends in really nicely at the bottom.Now our hitch is a Class III which means it's going to give us that 2" x 2" receiver tube opening so we're going to have a really wide variety, when it comes to accessories, that we can mount up. Maybe we need to make some room on the inside of our Highlander. We can put that gear on the outside with a cargo carrier. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Toyota Highlander- Video

Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com and today you're going to be taking a look at the Curt Class 3 Custom Hitch Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2019 Toyota Highlander.Here's what the hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. Now you can see it's got a really nice appearance because the cross tube's going to be pretty much hidden all the way across. We'll have a little bit hanging down, but the main thing we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out. So, it's not going to be distracting from the looks of our Highlander.Our Hitch is going offer us a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening, and we're going to have a really wide variety of options when it comes to the accessories we can mount up. Whether we want to go on a bike ride, want to carry some bikes, we're not going to have to worry about taking multiple vehicles because the hitch will be able to handle up to four or five bikes. Or if we're going camping we want to throw a cargo carrier on there and not dirty the inside of Highlander, it's going to be a really great way to transport all that stuff. more

Today on our 2013 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer class three custom fit trailer hitch receiver.So here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is going to be visible, it's going to sit right below our bumper. But what I really like about this hitch is the fact that it does have that carbide flat black look, so it blends in nicely at the bottom.Our hitch is a class three hitch, which means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, so we'll have a really wide variety of options when it comes to accessories that we can mount up. The way we're going to mount any of those is through the hitch pin hole here on the side. Our hitch is going to accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. Now while these are not included in the kit, you can pick them up here at etrailer.com along with some locking devices to keep your accessories secure.As far as the safety chain connection points go, it's going to be a plate style welded to the bottom, and as you can see, we'll have plenty of room to get most sized hooks on or off.As far as weight capacity goes, our hitch is going to have a 750 pound tongue weight, which is the maximum downward force to the receiver tube, along with a 5,000 gross trailer weight rating. more

Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Toyota Highlander- Video

Today in our 2019 Toyota Highlander, you're going to be taking a look and show you how to install the Draw-Tite Max e-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver.This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see the cross tube is visible, however it sits nice and tight up against the bottom of our fascia and has a round tube design so it fits nicely with the contour of the vehicle. The receiver tube does stick out a little bit away from our bumper so you just want to make sure you watch your legs when loading and unloading the back of the vehicle. It has a 2" by 2" receiver tube opening with a nice reinforced collar to give it a little extra stability. Hitch pin hole which is this hole here is going to be 5/8" in diameter.
